Npower Exit Plan Packages for Batch A & B Beneficiaries
Former beneficiaries of the N-Power programme can choose from a variety of Npower exit plan packages. Former beneficiaries would be given a large sum of money to establish their own businesses and make ends meet as part of one of the packages. Another type of exit package includes hiring some as full-time teachers to help the Nigerian education system.
In accordance with the N-Power exit strategy, N-Power Batch A and B beneficiaries will now be able to access permanent career options or business chances. The Federal Government has announced that former N-power beneficiaries would be able to apply for job opportunities created for programme volunteers, beginning with an agent network in collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
This was revealed by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq, at the 4th annual review of the Home Grown School Feeding Programme (NHGSFP). The beneficiaries that are eligible are batches A and B of the N-Power programme.
The Federal Governments have made plans for the transition of the N-power Batch A and B through the creation of the NEXIT portal, which would allow those who choose to sign up to access other government empowerment opportunities to do so. Federal Government Unveil three Jobs Opportunities for exited Npower Volunteers (SANEF, Agric enumerator, GEEP) and will be activated via the NEXIT portal.
Under the Shared Agent Network Expansion Facility (SANEF), 200,000 people will be hired as financial services operators. Under the Mass Agric Programme, over 30,000 former N-Agro beneficiaries have been engaged and deployed to local government areas around the country for enumeration of farmers, mapping of farm fields, and GIS expertise. Others will be able to take advantage of the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP), which will provide them with opportunity to improve or start new firms through a micro-enterprise initiative.

Many chances are included in the NEXIT plan package. To apply for the CBN Empowerment Programmes for N-power Beneficiaries, go to nexit-fmhds.cbn.gov.ng and click on ‘Sign Up Here’ underneath the login form. The Federal Government feels that these packages will assist all previous Npower beneficiaries in achieving the program’s goals.
